Mid-Level Provider in Omaha, Nebraska

The MId-Level Provider is used in a variety of ways and provides a wide range of medical services.  The majority of their work is concerned with performing more routine tasks which have been traditionally been done by physicians.  The Mid-Level Provider may be the first one to see the patient, take the initial history, do an appropriate physical exam and order laboratory or x-ray work.  With physician guidance as necessary, they may diagnose and treat many common problems.  A large part of the duties is to educate the patient and the community about illness, family planning, health hazards, child care and other aspects of health care maintenance.
