 A Mid-level Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is needed to provide medical services at main clinic and various locations.
This position will provide general medical care at all clinics.  Treatment will include: preventative medicine, episodic self-limiting diseases, acute serious diseases, chronic long-term disease, counseling, EKG services, physical treatment, medication, and others.  Hospitalization will be provided through, and in consultation with, the supervising physician.  Under the direction of the supervising physician, referrals will be made to other health care providers when necessary; including Medical Specialists (for care beyond the scope and /or capability of the practice), Dentists, Optometrists, Behavioral Health Practitioners, and others when specifically indicated.  The Mid-level Provider will make every effort to obtain clinical information from patients, performing counseling and patient education, and to do follow-up preventative medical care.  This individual will become active in the development of the health care plan, quality assurance procedures, and other necessary documentation.
The selected individual must be able to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision.  Must hold a current PA or APRN license and DEA Certificate, rand BLS.  Must be computer literate and EHR experience is helpful.  Excellent benefits and loan repayment eligible.
